December, January, February, June, July, August, October and November are the best months to see the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro

The calving season from January to March is one of the most interesting migratory periods in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area when wildebeest gives birth on the Ndutu plains.

Another unforgettable wildebeest migration experience is the Mara River Crossing in August – November when wildebeest risk their lives to cross the flowing river with hungry, powerful crocodiles in the northern Serengeti.
