This notice explains how Elia Wildlife Experience, based in Arusha, Tanzania, uses the information you send through this website.

What we collect

When you use the safari planner or contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name and email address, and if you choose to give them, your phone or WhatsApp number, country, travel dates, group size, children's ages, interests, accommodation preference, budget and message.

We do not ask for passport or payment details through this website.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, discuss your safari and prepare a proposal. If you tick the box to receive occasional news, we may also email you about new routes and seasons. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in this website's database and sent by email to our team. If we use a customer management or email service, your details are shared with it only to manage your enquiry.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us at the email address on our contact page.

Maps

Safari itinerary pages can show an interactive map provided by Google Maps. The map loads only when you scroll to it. When it does, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies, as described in Google's own privacy policy. We do not send Google any of the details you enter in the safari planner.

Cookies and analytics

Any analytics on this site is used to understand which pages are useful. We do not send your name, email, phone number or message to analytics services.
